Privacy Policy
Your privacy is our core priority. TechHost is designed with standard sandbox security measures.
1. Data Storage & Processing
All actions, configuration adjustments, data inputs, and camera captures happen directly on your client browser. We do not maintain any remote databases, servers, API endpoints, or back-ends. The content of your generated or scanned QR codes is never saved, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.
2. Camera & Gallery Access
The QR scanner requires permission to access your device's webcam/camera feed. This access is used solely for capturing video frames containing QR barcodes, and all decoding algorithms run strictly inside your local web application container via JavaScript. No video stream, recording, or photo is ever transmitted. You can safely disable camera permissions at any point through your system browser settings.
3. LocalStorage & Local History
To provide a modern user experience, we support "Recent History" tracking. This lists your last 10 generated QR codes and your last 10 scanned QR codes. This data is stored strictly in your browser's persistent sandbox storage (`localStorage`). It is completely visible to you, remains under your control, and can be wiped instantly by tapping the "Clear All" or "Clear Scans" buttons.
4. Third-Party Integrations
We do not include third-party trackers, advertisements, or profiling beacons. All libraries (Bootstrap, QRCode.js, jsQR, and html5-qrcode) are loaded through optimized global content delivery networks (CDNs) with Subresource Integrity (SRI) hashes to ensure your safety and high performance.
